We are organising a  5-30 mile (approx) walk through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside along the Trentham/Mersey to raise money for Help for Heroes. You can run, walk or cycle if you are part of a cycling club. The route for cyclists will be from Alrewas to Trentham and back by road. Walkers will start from Trentham or one of the 4 stages along the way depending on how far you want to walk. The finish will be at Alrewas where there will be a fun day including stalls, a BBQ and bar etc.
Ok, so here are the stages. If you want to walk....

#1. The full 30 miles (very brave) your start point will be: The Toby Carvery, Trentham, Longton Rd, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8BU. Walkers and runners, please arrive here at 7am. Cyclists, please arrive for 10am.

#2. 20 miles (make sure you get good shoes...) your start point will be: The Saracens Head, Stafford Rd, Weston, Stafford, ST18 OHT. Walkers & runners please arrive for 8.30am

#3. 10 miles (not advisable in flip flops!) your start point will be: The Ash Tree, Armitage Rd, Rougely, WS15 1PF. Walkers and runners please be here for 10am.

or #4. 5miles (approx) your start point will be: The Olde Peculiar, The Green, Handsacre, Staffordshire, WS15 4BP. Walkers and runners please be here for 11.15am.

...and they're all pubs so you can get a round in before you begin. If you're not up for walking but would like to get involved, all of the above pubs are doing fun days to help raise money for the cause. At the finish there will be a very big BBQ, a bar, stalls and we're trying to get a bouncy castle too, so come along and show your support for our wounded along with Olympic gold medalist Lee Pearson and Major Phil Packer.

The finish will be at The George and Dragon, 120 Main St., Alrewas, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 7AE.
